Credit Card processing for NON adult sites?

I have a client that wants to start a subscription based site.. but the content is not adult. Can anyone reccomend any good cc processors for this? Isnt the percentage thats taken out much lower since its not adult? Is 2 checkout good for this type of thing or can anyone reccomend any processors? He would much rather have a high transaction fee and a low percentage taken out then the other way around.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Epoch handles our cc processing on our non-adult sites.

I believe we are charged the same % for processing as on our adult sites.. but not 100% sure..

You might want to take a look at this http://www.mollyguard.com/access

Mollyguard charges a flat 6.5% transaction fee, plus PayPal fees of 2.9% + 30 cents.

Holden,

If you are going to use an IPSP's banking to accept your credit card orders, it is still going to be considered high-risk. You are still talking about a recurring online transaction and using a 3rd party banking service. However, unless you have some experience in the online recurring biz, you're probably still better off using a 3rd party service to maintain your customer support and credit/chargeback ratios.

If you have questions for Epoch, please write to [email protected].

What does mollyguard do besides provide a htaccess protection service? I looked at their FAQ and really couldn't understand what value they added for a 6.5% fee...
