Can anybody help me with this (stupid) vbulletin or any other forum question?

I assume most forums are the same when it comes to this.
When i send an newsletter to my forum members i select the usergroup i want to send to, write the message and click send.
The forum software then shows you every member you are currently mailing
    user a - complete
    user b - complete
    etc.

Can i close this window? I mean, will it keep on mailing in the background?

I have never done this with V bulletin ( even though I have it ). I am guessing that once it sends the command to the sendmail it would keep running in the Back ground.

    Sure would like to know.

I guess it depends how your php.ini is setup...
ignore_user_abort setting may influence this - if set to true, the script will continue, but if set to false, when you close the window the script will abort.
