one of the facts they mention is this :

In driving simulations, high-anger drivers have twice as many car accidents--either from a collision with another vehicle or off-road crash. They also report more near-accidents and receive more speeding tickets. However, the two groups are equal in the number of accidents they have that involve major injuries; Deffenbacher speculated that's because these types of crashes are a rare occurrence anyway.

It likely was due to some gay faggy scarf around your neck cutting off the circulation more likely than the smoking weed... The reason its being discussed is due to them wanting to set limits on it similar to alcohol. Which is fine, but 9 nanograms is still in your system the next morning after smoking, and 9 nanograms is a tiny amount for a daily smoker. You are not still inebriated even after 3 or 4 hours. The effects of the thc is gone, but the test would still put you over the limit.

I've been reading this forum for years, and by far you are probably the biggest idiot on them. There is no comparison between being drunk and being stoned. Stoned you can snap out of. Stoned you can walk perfectly fine if you want. Its easy to snap out of being stoned. You cannot snap out of being drunk. Cannabis actually makes you be more alert when driving, while being more relaxed at the same time. I'd ride with someone that is stoned any day of the week before riding with someone that was drunk. They are setting it around 5 nano-grams in Colorado to be considered "stoned driving". The problem with that is a daily smoker who hasn't smoked for 14 hours will still have over 5 nano-grams in their system even though they are completely sober. Its comparable to getting pulled over 2 days after stopping drinking and getting a dui. How many drinkers here could likely blow a .08 and be stone cold sober? If you drank 2 days ago and were 100% sober and got a dui would you be pissed off and feel it unjust? Well that is our beef with it for Cannabis being a 5 nano-gram limit.

Anyone that uses Cannabis especially smoking knows it wears off in a few hours after your last inhale. People with medical issues like parkinsons or similar it actually makes them much much more adept at using their muscles and reaction times increase. It actually helps your nervous system to work better. Joe Rogan spars fully stoned and his reaction time isn't slowed at all. Its a bunch of malarkey...

I found it very difficult to do. I had to do it once. I was with this chick who had a Jeep. We took it to a very secluded pond. The trail leading to it was treacherous and rocky, but worth it, because the pond was fucking stunning, and we had it all to ourselves. Anyway, we had a great time playing in the water, chilling on big assed inner tubes, and getting stoned. Walking back to the Jeep she broke her right foot on a jagged rock sticking up out of the ground. She was in great pain and couldn't drive. So I did. I wasn't used to driving it, and being baked wasn't the best time to learn, obviously, but whatever. Ya gotta do...

Anyway, all was cool until we got back on the road. Then we passed a cruiser, and I was fucking crippled with paranoia. It was hard to tell how fast I was going cuz I wasn't familiar with the vehicle and it's throttle response and big-assed wheels, and I was too paranoid to take my eyes off the road and look at the speedo. I should add that I was very, very high - it was good shit. :rasta

It's an anti-climactic story as I got us back safe, but that was the longest ride of my life. Shitting bricks the whole way. I will never do that again.

The difference being the same as someone who has not drank that often, and has 2 beers and drives. They will obviously have problems if they have no tolerance to Alcohol. A daily cannabis user doesn't smoke and have to lay in bed or can't move. I've seen people smoke enough to put non smokers into the couch where they can't move, juggle with 5 times at a time and not drop them, do back flips, walk across something the size of a balancing beam with no problem, etc.

There was a guy that recorded with hidden cameras during a Fox news segment trying to show that driving while stoned slows your reaction time. He came in and hadn't smoked since the night before. I think 12 hours, and he was at 9 nano-grams. They used a 18 wheeler test simulator for the people to drive on with the big huge wheel. He caught even they Camera man saying that the test was bs, and the stoned people still all passed it more or less. lol

I'd be a lot more worried about people on prescription pain pills etc., causing issues while driving. :winkwink:

I don't see why a roadside sobriety test can't be the standard in any instance. Drinking, using cannabis, prescription pills, I mean that is what the crux of it comes down to. Do you have your shit together enough to be operating a motor vehicle? There are people that are dumb stoners, like me when I smoke, I can hardly drive when I'm high and don't want to. Then there are stoners that have some gift of being functional stoners, usually dealers that burn blunts all day long. But they have absolutely no problem driving and actually aren't bad drivers at all, and you usually can't even tell they're high. Let's step back for a second and remember how fucking retarded so many drivers are, sober.

That said, a stoner driving in normal conditions and driving in this test are two different things. In the normal world they are in their comfort zone or w/e and just driving, and here they know they're being tested and are under pressure so I don't really see how it's entirely accurate.

Thats why I think they only good thing to do is a roadside sobriety test, and not that backwards abc shit. I ask sober people to do that all the time and 8 out of 10 can't do it. We don't learn it backwards. lol Plus most people sing the abc song in their head while they are saying it. lol

It should be a reaction and balance test only. There are people completely sober that can't pass a sobriety test. :winkwink:
