bluehost: stay away from them!

hey people. just woke up to see that my bluehost hosting is suspended because of some "(reason: Backups/Storage Constraints)" ... i never received any warning or something from them before this hosting disable notice, so i have like 100 sites offline just because of them decided to disable my hosting at saturday without any warning, now that is a pimpin business practices! stay away of them if you dont like to see your business fucked into the ass from some lame amateurs! what a pimpin way to say good bye after four years of service ... btw that hosting was filled like two years ago when i decided its full already enough for me and from then i dont upload there anything anymore ... so, they have just found after two years of storage that there is something wrong ... what a pimps!

Yes, fuck them. I used to host with them, when I was just getting started before I even started doing adult sites. Then one of my WP installs got hacked and I contacted their support for help with it and and they said: "we'll look into it" then they shut off my account and tried to keep billing me.

Just yesterday they contacted me trying to get me to reinstate my account (full of websites built on expired domains) and advised me that a domain I don't even own will expire soon.

- As soon as I think up a good sig it's going here.

Im not shocked or surprised that web hosts treat their customers like that but people are very enlightened nowadays. How do bluehost make money when they treat clients that way, afterall web hosting is such a competitive business ?

Treat your clients good and it will spread.

I would advise both of you to write a review of your experiences with bluehost here, that way others will see what's going on.

ok so they sent me maintenance msg but did not answer my tickets ... waiting till tomorrow, then a call is on the way and if nothing reviews everywhere will come, i have enough of any dicks fucking with my biz ...

four years no problem, two years havent been touching the hosting, havent problem so far as i know, now, after two years of having the hosting there just as storage, i mean no updates no new domains no new sql nothing new, some dickhead there woke up at saturday and decided to be a big guy by banning accounts ... cool, as i said, they will have review everywhere where is possible to write the review, if they will not answer till tomorrow ... no comment and no support for assholes killing your biz

Use their live chat, I have a Blue Host account and that's the quickest way to get a hold of tech support...

I host a lot of mainstream sites there, and they used to be one of my favorite hosts, but about 2 years ago they were bought out by EIG and ever since their support has gone downhill...

thank you really very much man, i got the hosting back up so i owe you one and a big portion of love problem was with xmarkpro plugin doing some auto backups of backups without my knowledge so there was 180gb of backups on my account ... thanks for help gfy and nice weekend to everyone!

all is good now ... and i have 1000+ sites, and if i host it all on one server, once server have problem all sites have problems. now i have like 14 hosting accounts around the world and if one goes down, still about 90 percent of my network is up

man i am a total server noob, but so far the way i am doing it works well so not needed to change it i know i am a loser and pussy i dont use cloud hosting, but fuck it for me all that works the best i know i could use photoshop cs7, i can use linux, i can do also mainstream and so, but hey ...
