Had a few minutes to kill between Internext and AEE, so went and ran around the "Shot Show" one of the biggest gun shows in the world.

Wish I had some more time, as there are acres and acres of displays. I will try and arrange my schedule better next year, to squeeze a few more shots in.

It's pretty crazy how everyone is talking shit about him killing people and making it seem like he's some serial killer. He was defending his fellow soldiers and yes in the process bad people got killed. Its war. If those fuckers stayed home instead of planting ieds or shooting rpgs they would still be alive. They chose to be terrorists. If a dude planting an IED was killed and that saved the lives of multiple soldiers then I would think its a good thing.

For us Americans we remember 9-11 and those terrorists didn't give a shit about killing those innocent people. Fuck them.

For everyone out there saying he bragged about killing people if you read his book, which I have you will see that in the book he did not. He only mentioned what the Navy officially listed as his kill count once in the beginning of the book. Also in his book he never claimed to be the best sniper. He repeatedly said his kills were so high because he had more opportunities then other snipers. He was in the shit more than most during that time.

And yes in his book he did say he did not have remorse for those he killed.... BECAUSE THEY WERE BAD FUCKING DUDES!

If someone was actively trying to kill you or your friends would u let them kill you because "killing is bad" fuck that. I rather them die then my buddies or myself.

Like I've said before most people walk around life with their heads in their asses oblivious to all the shit that happens around them. If you worked in a capacity to stop or prevent the shit then you would know how it feels like when people are trying to harm you every day. At the end of the day I want to come home to my family. Fuck the bad guys, let them die.

Wow, the level of ignorance some people openly display is just amazing!

The military is there for a reason. You don't have to understand it, but just know that it has a distinct purpose, and is 100% essential to YOUR personal safeguarding.

Or to put it another way - Chris Kyle joined the military due to his own personal reasons, and his resulting actions were orders from his superiors - who in turn had a mandate sanctioned by the government elected by popular vote. That means the majority of your population have decided on having a military that is active outside its borders, as well as being okay with all the effects of doing so (such as having individuals proud of their achievements. And besides, if it wasn't him there would be someone else ordered to pull the trigger).

Don't forget! It's the military that ultimately lets you sleep relatively safe at night. If you don't believe me, then go pop a visit to the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and see what it feels like wondering if you are going to be attacked any night, with all your possessions looted, wife/daughter raped and children kidnapped for child soldiers. They don't have a statutory force to protect them, and therefore have to live with such a constant risk!
