Is Chrome supposed to invert tabs? Can it be stopped?

Most of the times if I have a-lot of tabs open and I click on one, it'll switch the place of that tab with the preceding one. It makes me want to put my fist through the computer. Sigh. Is there a way to turn that shit off?

Also- I'm pretty use to using CTRL+PGUP and CTRL+PGDN for advancing tabs-- but is there a more convenient key combination??

    Thank you

Ah- so it does that to other people, too?
I am pleased to know that I am not imagining that.
I swear it's almost as bad as that Windows 7 auto maximize when you move a window to the top of your screen. Thank christ I got that shit turned off.

Chrome doesn't do that to me, not sure what version you have or what you're using it on. I use Chrome now as main browser, used to like IE until 9 came around and it crashes non-stop and just sux.

I dont get that issue either. I use Chrome on my MacBook, could be a total different playing field than a PC.
