Who is uploading to tubes to make more money?

We have few content partner accounts and haven't uploaded much so haven't received much.

I've analyzed the stats a little, not much though.

I'm trying to find someone who has uploaded say 1000 videos to various tubes. Let's say video views are 5,000,000 combined. Out of those views, how many visitors landed back on YOUR site. How many converted?

If the number back is .5% or 5000000 X .005 = 25,000 visitors. Now what did these visitors convert? 1:1000 overall? So 25 signups and let's say worth $60 on average, $1500, half that if the tube makes the affiliate sale on your site.

What is $750 to $1500 worth to you? That should be less then a weeks pay for 1 person. For that many videos?

Who is making out better? The tube (who sells advertising and premium memberships) or you? Without the updates, the tubes won't get the traffic, without the traffic... they won't make advertising money or premium membership sales. Are you, the content uploader, making any of that advertising or premium membership sales? Are your sales going down because they can just watch your vids on a tube?

Someone who really has crunched these numbers would like to hear your findings.

Is there anyone here at all who licenses their content to any tube sites, that makes money back from those tubes?

Its 2013 I am pretty sure most paysites have a tube uploader on staff
I think around 2009-10 everyone caught on


The days of uploading a video to xtube.com and making 20 sales are gone..

Doing it.
The good ones.
Because it makes a lot more than it costs.
Money.

I've gotten better with xhamster, way worse on others. But the model itself is what I'm questioning.

How can it possibly be sustainable for anyone other then the tube owner?

Make enough sales to pay for the content...
