    Golf Freaks!!! GPS assistance needed!

I have been using SkyCaddie SG5 for years now, and I have been very happy with it. However, it needs a subscription, and it costs close to the price of a brand new GPS of other brands - some seem very handy, like the watches, etc.

I need it to be WORLDWIDE, and I prefer it being without having to subscribe "over and over again" - so, what do you GOLFERS use and RECOMMEND?

    Thanks, shankers!

I have some friends that work at ShotZoom and they developed GolfShot. Never used it, but they seem to like it. Might be biased... worth checking out.

Using GPS is like taking a mulligan every hole.

i got one one those bushnell hunting scopes (very similar to the golf version but cheaper), gives you distance pretty good.

there is the golfshot i phone app which is good but it eats your battery in one round.

The Garmin watches looks nice, but I need one that would work worldwide - or at least Europe and USA.

The phone apps are cool, but slow and battery draining - agree...
