If you're not promoting NAKED NEWS - you're wrong!! INSANE REBILLS

Naked News

It's an actual news program with high quality information, and the newscasters are naked. How could you go wrong with that? There are also all kinds of added bonuses and features to keep your customers busy.

The site converts surprisingly well and rebills like it's 1999.. All kinds of promo tools to play with and they can even automatically redirect your mobile traffic. Plus, they provide a mobile tour and the site is 100% compatible with most mobile devices.

Makes a great added source of income for those who would like to further monetize their members area traffic with non competing offers. Great for sites where hardcore ads don't fit too well and there's even a non nude tour just in case you need that.

The bottom line here is that it's interesting, it's different, it SELLS and it KEEPS SELLING. Try it TODAY.

The reason I stopped promoti g them a few years back is when they wrote into their tos that we were no longer allowed to mention our websites that the site is called 'Naked News' because they didnt want affiliates getting traffic from the search engines looking for them.

If every affiliate program decided that we were not allowed to use their site name, then we'd all be making much less money.

Just how are we supposed to tell a surfer what the site is about without using the words, naked news, newscaster, etc...

They're not "like that" ... they're always great to work with. A-lot of programs started adding similar verbage to their TOS awhile back, but the only time I've ever heard of it being made a big issue of was when that one guy, what was his name? Dirty K? He decided not to pay some affiliate named shoehorse because he had bid on competing terms or whatever else.

I'd consider it except for below. 1999 would be 300 sales and 1200 rebills. ;)

This kind of thing is always a strong warning sign that a program doesn't see affiliates as assets but as liabilities and marks. That "they don't enforce it" doesn't work because they are free to change their minds at any time and tell you tough "it was in our terms".

Those stats don't look good to me, but like you say they are from links on TGPs. I do like Naked News and should send them more traffic.

Good stats for me are in the image below, that's approx the same number of uniques as you've sent to Naked News

Those 193 joins to a 30pps would have given you an extra $890 in income. To a 35PPS and it jumps to an extra $1,855. Lots of rebills are nice, but more money is always nicer. What are they paying per affiliate share? Can't be bothered to look/work it out. Something to bear in mind, anyway

I agree it's a silly policy. This is analogous to a Mercedes dealership being prohibited from mentioning the Mercedes brand in advertising or a sales pitch. Instead they're only being allowed to say "buy this car", when trying to convince potential customers to spend $50k-100k. Sorry, but legitimate authorized sales representatives (i.e. affiliates) promoting the respective brand's products is NOT a case of trademark dilution.

$1478.37 divided by 154 sales/rebills = $9.60. What's the deal there? Do they do A/B testing or special prices, or rebill at a different amount, or is the site cost really $19.20/mo (assuming you get 50%)

edit: just saw it's 60% in the header, that means the monthly fee is $16?

It's $4.98-$14.95/month based on membership level and subscription length according to their join page.

I'm guessing the first redirect is because someone forgot that RSS feeds live on nakednewsheadlines.com, so they didn't realise that a blanket redirect to another domain would break things. The second redirect is probably a soft 404 since the content isn't found.

I emailed them a few times last year when this first happened. Finally gave up and pulled my NakedNews blogs.

Precisely this. It's one of the deadly warning signs that a program doesn't understand the fundamental value proposition of having affiliates. And if they don't value you, they eventually will screw you.
