I love with the Mormon's come to my door...I spend all the time staring directly at their crotches and licking my lips and saying things like "excuse me could you repeat that...I was distracted"...then go right back to staring...after about 5 minutes I tell them I have to go...I am late for my appointment at the church of Satan and it's bingo night.

Cheers. I handle telemarketers the same way, I just hang up. If it's a bank I do business with, I ask if it's something to do with my accounts, they start their spiel and I hang up. I don't hang up to be rude, I just do it to waste less of my time and theirs. I think it's the nicest thing I could do.
