"WikiLeaks chief Julian Assange says he has obtained the script for "The Fifth Estate," a DreamWorks film about the Australian maverick and his world famous secret-busting site.

In comments to the Oxford Union debating society, Assange said the script was a "recent acquisition" but didn't say how it was obtained. A DreamWorks spokeswoman declined to comment on his claim.

The film stars "Sherlock" actor Benedict Cumberbatch as Assange, and focuses on the early days of WikiLeaks. The screenplay is based on "Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website" by Domscheit-Berg and "WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy" by David Leigh and Luke Harding.

Assange was withering about the movie, which is to be released on Nov. 15, 2013, calling it a "mass propaganda attack" on his site's work.

He made the comments to the Oxford Union on Wednesday via videolink from the Ecuadorean Embassy in London, where he has been holed up for more than six months in a bid to avoid extradition.

His speech was posted to the Web late Friday."
