                                  As far as I understand its because Congress or Senate ( sorry ) decided to to postpone US bankruptsy .. go figure, expecting that who'd not run for the money to cash it out and buy canned food?

                                                      i heard this on the news last week and they claimed it was being done for the people that don't want/need larger amounts of cash when they go to the atm. awww, how thoughtful....not. by keeping more money inside the bank the banks can earn more interest or have more cash to use for their own investments. that $10 difference will add up. nothing is done out of the kindness of our government's heart over here.
