I Amelia's only concern was the routers ability to multiplex, i.e. handle several devices simultaneously.
Concrete wasn't mentioned in her original post.
P.S. Most people don't live in bunkers now these days.

Linksys/"cisco" products have given me headaches lately. I've always had good luck with asus products.
Take a look at the router I was discussing: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833124414

It's so freaking popular, it's not even in stock at the moment!!!
Talk about having social proof to back be up!!! It's 4 stars too!

Or it's almost 2 years old so they're not really stocking it any more. The vast majority of Newegg reviews are 1 star or 5 depending on if they needed to RMA it or not. Linksys products, both pre and post cisco, have given me countless headaches. I'm pretty much done with them. And don't fool yourself that you're getting a "cisco" product by buying linksys.

Not every day you see a fight about routers…

Anyway, I have this switch: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o03_s00_i00

And this router, provided by Time Warner: http://compare.ebay.com/like/3008488...Types&var=sbar

I don't really use the wireless features so I can't comment much on that. I love my switch though.

You mean people do shitty construction now and everything is made of sheet rock. Thats a good attemp though.

Enjoy your lynksys router in your well constructed home.

I'm going to back away from this argument as I've had my say, and it would be more than convincing to the average individual.
I am also backing away because margins in adult are slim and Supz, it would be evil for me to induce the need for you to enter intense psychological therapy sessions, because you're rhetoric didn't measure up to a keyboard warrior on a porn forum.

I am done as well. Because there is really nothing to argue about. I am sure your router treats you well, as well as mine does for me. I am sure they are 2 good solutions for what she needs to do.

But whatever you just said makes no fucking sense. What do margins in adult have to do with you thinking i have a therapist and you are sad that I was egging you on during a conversation on a webmaster board?

I truly wish you the best. My margins are fine.

What I meant by margins are slim is I wouldn't want you to cross the threashold of negative cashflow by having to hire a therapist.

That's good to hear, I wasn't doubting you. The thread was derailed a while ago and I had myself a good trahlala.

This is currently the best router available in my opinion. Just got one and it is magnificent.
I use one of these as well, pretty bitchin.

I've been using Linksys products and they seem to work really well out of the box, but have kind of short life spans. At least, I've ended up buying more of them than I am thrilled about.

Anyone used both the ASUS RT-N66U and the Airport Extreme and have a thought on one versus the other?
