You'd think if they faked it they would have not claimed to have left stuff on the moon that is clearly still there. Reflector array can easily be measured with radio telescopes not to mention the latest pictures SHOWING the landing site and equipment left behind taken by the latest space based telescopes.

When we landed on the moon we placed a large mirror on its surface. We did this for several reasons, one of which being so we can bounce lasers off it and track the moon's distance from Earth. It's because of this mirror that we know the moon is slowly spiraling away from Earth. This mirror is still there and is undeniable proof that we did in fact land on the moon.

I've found that most lunar landing conspiracy nuts are merely people who simply don't understand physics and astronomy.

I guess we undeniably assembled the Soviet retro-reflectors that are on the moon too.

I found most 'men on the moon' cranks have barely even a superficial acquaintance with facts and logic and are content to simply repeat nonsense they've seen on TV.

Here's how it works:-

1. Penn and Teller identified by the Pentagon as being useful for spreading propaganda among teenagers
2. They are offered a huge contract.
3. They accept.
4. They are told exactly which conclusions they need to draw and which conspiracies they must smear.
5. They use well known propaganda techniques, play the man and not the ball, use selective editing and miss out the most important points from the conspiracy; leaving it looking as a straw man argument.
6. They spend their blood money.

The retroreflector the US placed on the moon was part of a manned mission. There are photos of it being placed. Its existence was even proven (again) in an episode of Mythbusters in which Adam and Jamie visited an observatory and watched an astronomer bounce a laser off of it. The fact it's there proves we did in fact step foot on the moon.

The thing I find odd is why we haven't stepped foot on the moon since 1972.

Because of expense mainly, the nasa budget is really tiny these days and still people complain about that spending and there is basically no scientific purpose in going back except to prove to crazy people it is possible who would call any new mission a hoax anyway.

Besides with so much of the governments and NASA budget going to paying blood money to guys like Penn and Teller and to keep all the other people in the know about 911 and everything else quiet, not to mention the legion of shills they have to pay to people to make youtube comments and even the shills on a porn message board like me to post.

1. Find out Santa Claus isn't real. Decide to never trust any adult or authority figure ever again because they've been lying to you all along.
2. Assume that everything else you were told as a child is also a lie.
3. Willfully ignore facts and reality while making up a bunch of stuff to support your assumptions.
4. Develop an air of righteous superiority and self aggrandizement while claiming to know the "truth" about everything.
5. When confronted with facts and reality make up more stuff to keep the conspiracy alive. Non-falsifiable claims always work best.
6. Martyr yourself for the "truth" with some sort of attention grabbing crime to teach the sheep a lesson for not believing you.

I'm more inclined to believe we were warned to stay away from the moon by aliens as the reason for no longer going there, than to believe we never went there in the first place and that it was all a hoax. 6 times.

OK y'all here's the thing for me....

I was at Cape Canaveral with my family when they launched that rocket. I watched it with my own two eyes (I was 7) lift off and fly'till it was out of site. I can only assume it actually went to the moon..... as....... I wasn't on the moon either.

I wasn't in WW I or WW II either but I have been provided compelling evidence that they happened.

Now does this prove that we landed on the moon? Nope!!! But I believe that we did based upon the events I have been witness to. (I could have been scammed, but that's not the working model I'm going by at this time.)

But there is way more proof to convince me that this event actually happened. Unlike the millions of fucking idiots who believe in Jesus Fucking Christ. Christians base their whole life on less evidence than I have of the moon landing. (FAIL)

So the amount of evidence needed to convince people of something is subjective at best.
