Just like 911 the "serious" people can't question this bullshit because they will get locked out.

Awesome video but I'm not sure the actual MOON is even real. It keeps coming and going, and every time I look at it it's a differant size. Heck, sometimes I can't see it at all!

Let's clear this up first, okay? IS there a moon?

And what's Pink Floyd's role in all this?

Quote:

The Apollo missions marked the first event where humans traveled through the Van Allen belts, which was one of several radiation hazards known by mission planners. The astronauts had low exposure in the Van Allen belts due to the short period of time spent flying through them. The command module's inner structure was an aluminum "sandwich" consisting of a welded aluminium inner skin, a thermally bonded honeycomb core, and a thin aluminium "face sheet". The steel honeycomb core and outer face sheets were thermally bonded to the inner skin.

In fact, the astronauts' overall exposure was dominated by solar particles once outside the earth's magnetic field. The total radiation received by the astronauts varied from mission to mission but was measured to be between 0.16 and 1.14 rads (1.6 and 11.4 mGy), much less than the standard of 5 rem (50 mSv) per year set by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission for people who work with radioactivity.[23]

funny and well made video..

adult-help 01-20-2013 04:23 AM

so what are those moon hoax supporters say? that all 6 moon landings were faked? or only first one? if only the first one : they usually say technology was not yet ready etc but ll 6 moon landings were between 1969 and 1972.So if only first one was faked then suddenly we had the technology to in 1-3 years? or do they really say that all 6 landings were faked? this is absurd..

candyflip 01-20-2013 06:36 AM

I still think that we landed on the moon, but I also still think that the public was fed a moon landing video.

I don't believe any official story that comes from the US govt.

you are exposed to small amounts of radiation every day at ground level and the average aircrew or frequent flyer is exposed to far higher amount of radiation every year than any of the apollo astronauts.

WarChild 01-20-2013 09:28 AM

You'd think if they faked it they would have not claimed to have left stuff on the moon that is clearly still there. Reflector array can easily be measured with radio telescopes not to mention the latest pictures SHOWING the landing site and equipment left behind taken by the latest space based telescopes.

Yep, so "easy" that Russia, China, India, Europe or other superpowers with space programs have, for some mysterious reason, never done it. Ever. Not once. Not ever.

So "easy" that the one country that pretends to have done it with tinfoil, string and other primitive 60s technology has, for some mysterious reason, been unable to do it ever 'again', despite astronomical advances in technology, and despite the fact that the technology to do it already exists (according to NASA and whackos who believe them).

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

You people who believe it happened have to be trolling, right?

What's absurd is believing we could land men multiple times with backward 60s hardware then suddenly, for some mysterious reason (when Watergate was unraveling, and the Government was terrified of other dirty little secrets being uncovered) we don't do it ever 'again'.

What's absurd is not recognizing the Apollo missions for what they were: cold war propaganda by an American government that is historically proven to have been monumentally untrustworthy, corrupt and evil.

There isn't a single shred of scientific evidence to support the man on the moon theory, simply Nixon's propaganda images and movies filmed at NASA's 'training' facilities, and all you batshit fruitcakes who believe in that are even more nutzoid than people who believe in ghosts or God or Santa Claus. You choose to believe in Tricky Dicky.

Seriously, you 'men on the moon' crazies need help.

I'm pretty sure Penn and Teller don't make government propaganda movies. They're just two extremely intelligent guys with an uncanny ability to sniff out bullshit.

:)

When we landed on the moon we placed a large mirror on its surface. We did this for several reasons, one of which being so we can bounce lasers off it and track the moon's distance from Earth. It's because of this mirror that we know the moon is slowly spiraling away from Earth. This mirror is still there and is undeniable proof that we did in fact land on the moon.

I've found that most lunar landing conspiracy nuts are merely people who simply don't understand physics and astronomy.

I guess we undeniably assembled the Soviet retro-reflectors that are on the moon too.

Here's how it works:-

1. Penn and Teller identified by the Pentagon as being useful for spreading propaganda among teenagers
2. They are offered a huge contract.
3. They accept.
4. They are told exactly which conclusions they need to draw and which conspiracies they must smear.
5. They use well known propaganda techniques, play the man and not the ball, use selective editing and miss out the most important points from the conspiracy; leaving it looking as a straw man argument.
6. They spend their blood money.

:2 cents:

The Soviet retroreflector wasn't assembled on the moon, though. It was part of a rover mission.

http://www.technologyreview.com/view...-still-intact/

The retroreflector the US placed on the moon was part of a manned mission. There are photos of it being placed. Its existence was even proven (again) in an episode of Mythbusters in which Adam and Jamie visited an observatory and watched an astronomer bounce a laser off of it. The fact it's there proves we did in fact step foot on the moon.

The thing I find odd is why we haven't stepped foot on the moon since 1972.

Because of expense mainly, the nasa budget is really tiny these days and still people complain about that spending and there is basically no scientific purpose in going back except to prove to crazy people it is possible who would call any new mission a hoax anyway.

Besides with so much of the governments and NASA budget going to paying blood money to guys like Penn and Teller and to keep all the other people in the know about 911 and everything else quiet, not to mention the legion of shills they have to pay to people to make youtube comments and even the shills on a porn message board like me to post.

well... theres just not much left after that, no wonder the US is going broke...

Here's how it works for conspiracy theorists:

1. Find out Santa Claus isn't real. Decide to never trust any adult or authority figure ever again because they've been lying to you all along.
2. Assume that everything else you were told as a child is also a lie.
3. Willfully ignore facts and reality while making up a bunch of stuff to support your assumptions.
4. Develop an air of righteous superiority and self aggrandizement while claiming to know the "truth" about everything.
5. When confronted with facts and reality make up more stuff to keep the conspiracy alive. Non-falsifiable claims always work best.
6. Martyr yourself for the "truth" with some sort of attention grabbing crime to teach the sheep a lesson for not believing you.

Jel 02-24-2013 05:16 PM

I'm more inclined to believe we were warned to stay away from the moon by aliens as the reason for no longer going there, than to believe we never went there in the first place and that it was all a hoax. 6 times.

OK y'all here's the thing for me....

I was at Cape Canaveral with my family when they launched that rocket. I watched it with my own two eyes (I was 7) lift off and fly'till it was out of site. I can only assume it actually went to the moon..... as....... I wasn't on the moon either.

I wasn't in WW I or WW II either but I have been provided compelling evidence that they happened.

Now does this prove that we landed on the moon? Nope!!! But I believe that we did based upon the events I have been witness to. (I could have been scammed, but that's not the working model I'm going by at this time.)

But there is way more proof to convince me that this event actually happened. Unlike the millions of fucking idiots who believe in Jesus Fucking Christ. Christians base their whole life on less evidence than I have of the moon landing. (FAIL)

So the amount of evidence needed to convince people of something is subjective at best.
