questions to ask mainstream affiliates- help

How not to sound dumb when dealing with potential mainstream affiliates? What pitch do you give?

Can you give me a few suggestions please or point me to an article that would help? I want to engage some MS affiliates but don't wish to be buttraped.

    Thanks

Don't call them affiliates, they are 'Publishers' and you run a 'Publisher Program'

Thanks so much - to be more specific, I just signed up for a site called digital point that has many indian and international members. I know there will be scammers, etc, and I have never worked with affiliates on a mainstream site.

Do mainstreamers expect 50% (not doing it, but what is the norm) ?
Are there some basic things to avoid?
Is there a "best" mainstream version of ccBill?

I am doing my own research not being a lazy ass, but I really appreciate any tips from those of you who may know something about mainstream.

Bump for answers. I'm getting into mainstream myself (right now I run mainstream-ish sites) and any insight would be appreciated.

Lots of knowledge at GFY - even in some of the more flippant posts.

You'll actually find there are more scammers in mainstream than in adult.

As far as the percentage splits go with mainstream publishers, you can actually get away with as low as 20% up-to 75% and they'll be happy (for the most part) so long as your product sells, they also don't seem to put as much weight on things like traffic leaks to social sites, publisher program links, etc...

http://www.ecsuite.com - CCBill's mainstream processing arm, you might also want to go with a company such as ClickBank (because they have a HUGE market presence) the only downside with ClickBank is what they charge to get a product in their network, $50 a pop.

Mainstream is a lot more profitable than adult, even today, you just have to take your time, establish yourself as an authority on the mainstream networking platforms and socialize, socialize, socialize...

Don't let just anybody sign up and don't do instant payout it's a recipe for someone to use a load of stolen cards to fuck you over.
