It was not that long ago that Internext was thought to be on its way out; I remember walking in back around 2008 and thinking there was no way it would last. You two have certainly turned things around and you should be proud of yourselves and should be congratulated for a job well done.

I fully agree. This is the second year of the show feeling like shows used to feel like. Once again, I heard people commenting on the number of old faces they saw emerging at shows after years of staying away.

For me, it has been the number of people showing up to actually talk business and do deals rather than just party. The last two years, I could barely get to the (very good) seminars because I was booked solid with meetings. Most of which had actual promise to them.
The meet market had moments of being crazy busy both years too. At other shows in recent years, I've sat at meet market tables where barely anybody goes by let alone is there to actually learn about your company.
So, I guess I would say the growth is in people feeling like business can be accomplished at a show again.Comment

I guess the only thing I would say is that it can be difficult to find a place for a meeting where there won't be a lot of noise but you find ways around things.Comment
