    Is there a cpu with more powerful cores? (NOT MORE CORES- more powerful ones)

    Well, I had the I5-2500k and it was running @ a max of 4400... it was decent, I suppose. Now I have the A10-5800k and I'm pretty sure it's not quite the horsepower of the I5.... then I see the ht I7 as the next logical step, right? But I am so god damned tired of things that can only use one core ending up taking GDF FOREVER ..... so if any of you guru types could recommend something that would solve that, I'd appreciate it. A-lot. I want at least a 500% improvement in single core performance... I know there's this one thing I read about awhile back, but I can't remember what it is. I want that. No matter what it fucking costs.

              This will be the next step in CPU technology. More powerful cores, not more cores.

                  Are you sure? I saw him talk about maroon five, some 8 core phone with two quad cores, maroon five, tobasco sauce, an ssd and some other various things .... but not that
