Correct me if I'm wrong here, but your goal is to get sites to stop sending payments and limit the money flow to infringing sites, if the widget still works, but they're not making any money off of it. Isn't that a good thing? This makes them think they're making money, therefor limiting their income.I reported these two sites to [email protected] earlier in the week
http://fullvidxxx.com
http://porndownisland.com/
To date they have not even been courteous enough to reply, one of these sites is still active with Plugrush.
It seems Plugrush have the ability to stop popup blockers but not the ability to disable widgets on infringing sites.
Is this not logical?Email - popuplace [at] yahoo [dot] comComment

Remember the old saying... Just because you hang out with skunks it does not make you a skunk. But you will still end up stinking just as bad.Correct me if I'm wrong here, but your goal is to get sites to stop sending payments and limit the money flow to infringing sites, if the widget still works, but they're not making any money off of it. It is corporate image and anyone that runs a clean tight ship does not want to do business with those deal with shady characters. It comes down to being able to trust those you are dealing with. If the person you are doing business with has one foot in crap, you never know if they are going to one day screw you over for a couple of dollars.
So no it is not logical.
You build your brand image and you take your product seriously. Seriously enough to send a clear message to scumbags that you are not going to take anything from them.
in the end.... A business just like a man is judged by the company he keeps.Last edited by notinmybackyard; 01-11-2013, 03:46 PM.officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.Comment

Using that logic, every single one of the people in the adult biz have their foot in crap. Because some one they deal with has their foot in crap, or some one, that some one they deal with does. Therefor. This makes absolutely no sense.Remember the old saying... Just because you hang out with skunks it does not make you a skunk. But you will still end up stinking just as bad.

Taking what WOULD be profitable traffic from infringer's should be enough. If its not, than perhaps you all need to re-think your strategy.
I would suggest reading Sun Tzu's "Art of War" to fully understand what strategy to use. I would define traffic as food. By limiting the food your enemy intakes, you limit their abilities to expand.
PlugRush SHOULD keep the ability for these warez sites to show their widgets. Because they're not counting them! which limits the income. Which limits the profitability. Which limits their ability to pay for their server bills and expansion efforts.
Why this is considered anything other than helping defeat warez sites is beyond me...
Seriously. Develop a strategy. Then talk about how you're going to take down infringer's. Right now it looks like you're just attacking people you say are infringing via paypal... and calling it a day.... I could list 100 reasons this is flawed, but since its clear people are just picking enemies and sticking to that enemy as if its the only one, until they buckle... is just sad and pointless and resembles a witch hunt by attacking one company. When hundreds of companies on GFY have ads on the same exact websites.Email - popuplace [at] yahoo [dot] comComment

It's the porn industry, you don't need to worry about your foot being in crap, because you're waist deep in shit.Remember the old saying... Just because you hang out with skunks it does not make you a skunk. But you will still end up stinking just as bad.
