    Funny Antidote about the so-called fiscal cliff

    a little about the fiscal cliff they are patting themselves on the back for fixing

    Lesson # 1:
    * U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
    * Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
    * New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000
    * National debt: $14,271,000,000,000
    * Recent budget cuts: $ 38,500,000,000
    Let's now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:
    * Annual family income: $21,700
    * Money the family spent: $38,200
    * New debt on the credit card: $16,500
    * Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
    * Total budget cuts so far: $385.00
    Got It ????? OK now,
    Lesson # 2:
    Here's another way to look at the Debt Ceiling:
    Let's say, You come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood....and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.
    What do you think you should do? ......
    Raise the ceilings, or remove the shit?

    In reality, this is scary, As a result, the CBO estimates that the new bill congress got thru to Obama will reduce revenues over 10 years by $3.64 trillion and increase spending by $332 billion.
    Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
    think about that

        I'm still trying to figure out how anyone can back Fisker for all the money we gave them when they are building cars no one can afford and aren't even a US company. Yet, our fucked up congress is looking a bill to make electric cars produce more noise?

        Maybe a little clown horn? Fucking idiots!

        All the shit we have had rammed down our throats about hybrids is fucking nuts. In the garage right now is a little red truck built in 1981 by VW that gets 45 mpg, it's so simple a motor is doesn't have a computer, not even spark plugs

              You rightwing losers keep trotting out the family budget analogy - it doesn't apply. The US budget is not modelable like a family budget. There have been dozens of articles deconstructing the argument and showing why it's flawed, look it up.

              presumably this is where you copied your numbers and analogy...

              and a few of the hundreds of perspectives on the flaws in the US budget is like a family budget analogy, from a quick search, leaving out the better known fuck-you-right-wingnuts sources...

              http://blogs.reuters.com/felix-salmo...ance-metaphor/

              summary - families dont have the power to control the value of money, families don't live as long as countries, families can't legally declare wars and refuse to put the costs in the family budget, the externalities of families and countries are not similar in kind or scale, etc etc.

              ---

              That said, it certainly was a crappy deal - man you republicans took it up the ass without even spit for lube then cleaned off obama's shitty dick. Seriously it's fucking embarrasing to watch. Everybody got fucked but you guys are showing off the fucking prolapsed colon, your assholes are dragging in the dirt.

              You should be voting your republicans out and replacing them with more tea party types that will give obama a little fight while he reams their asses.

              I think ya'll should load up and head for the office of your closest republican congressman and tell him what a cocksucker he is.
