What I can't believe is how at the Ganges they will put their dead, bath, wash clothes, and brush their teeth in the same place. Yet they don't get sick. If I mistakenly brush my teeth in local water or get some in my mouth during a shower somewhere in Asia I'm on the shitter for three days.

Hey Franck, did you know that some airlines coming from India actually spray their passengers with disinfectant and insecticide? If I'm not mistaken, I think some countries (like the USA) require it for flights from India and a few other places. THAT is how dirty it is.

A doctor once told me that when you travel you pick up various parasites and bacteria that you have not been exposed to. The same goes for some foreigners coming to America, they get sick as they are exposed to new bacteria. Knowing that, I have to assume it's possible all of her other travels and exposure to lord knows what somehow prepared her for India.

Tried to go on a walk with my pops but we ran back to the hotel because everywhere smelled like poop, and we had to avoid stepping on poop on the road..

mind you this was RIGHT OUTSIDE THE GATE OF A 5 STAR HOTEL...

dont even get me started on the airport....

Apart from that, the wedding was magnificent, and as usual the indian's are great hosts(as long as you dont wanna marry their daughter)... one of the most racist groups of people on earth too

all in all, a good trip, which i dont want to repeat anytime soon

Check out a doc series called "The Story of India" hosted and written by Michael Woods. You'll hate the Brits more than the Indians after seeing with GB did to India in the 18th and 19th centuries setting the stage for the mess they have today. Especially between India, Kashmir and Pakistan.
