    Amish Mafia....

    Has anyone else watched this show? I'm not sure if the intent was supposed to be funny. But I can't stop LOL'n every time it comes on.

          I've been watching it.
          It's funny to me because there's lots of Amish about 30 minutes from my house.

          Did you know that 60% of all Amish households have been established since 1990
          They're a fast growing demographic in the US.
          And they fucking stink.
          They only bathe once a week.

              I love it! I live in Pa. and shop at a small amish grocery quite frequently... I keep forgetting to ask the clerk if he knows "Lebenon Levi" lol.

              Edit: Actually the store is owned and ran by menonites, but a few are from Lebenon, Pa. area and they get a lot of whole grains and homemade goods from the amish community.

                  How much more fake could they possibly get? lol! I'm from Lancaster County and have lived around the Amish most of my life. The show is so far from reality, but it doesn't really matter. Someone came up with a brilliant idea for a reality show and with the "English" being so curious about the Amish, it was bound to be a hit. lol!

                      I've been wanting to see this show but haven't caught it yet.

                      I love the Amish. They make some killer food. Their scrapple is amazing. Occasionally the wife and I will visit a farmers market/flea market up in Pennsylvania. I just go for the food

                              Exactly why I find it so comical. As some one who has went to Lancaster, PA for nearly a decade and has seen absolutely 0 'Mafia' I call bullshit.

                              Especially considering the dudes on the show all look, and act like total pussies who I would manhandle at the drop of a dime.

                              I feel as if this show was made just for the lulz...

                                              I saw one episode it's obviously fake as hell just like any other reality TV show. Might of been a better sell if they toned it down a bit. I pretty much assume some stoner was listening to Weird Al's Amish Paradise the rip of Coolio's gangster paradise put 2&2 together came up with this shit.
