Scotia business owner cleared of drug charges by surveillance video, informant missing
SCOTIA, N.Y. -- Supporters of a head-shop owner vindicated on drug charges are now demanding a second look at old cases involving a bad informant.
Donald Andrews, Jr.'s attorney, Kevin Luisbrand, showed the in-store surveillance video taken from the Dapp City Smoke Shop in Scotia last March that shows the informant planting drugs.
Luisbrand said it proves that an unnamed police informant set up Andrews by planting crack cocaine in his Scotia shop.
It was only after Andrews requested the Grand Jury watch the surveillance video that investigators realized they had a bad informant. The video shows the informant event takes a cell phone picture of the drugs, which was used as "proof" of a drug by detectives who were waiting outside.
The felony charges we're dropped, but Andrews supporters are now demanding that seven old cases involving the same informant get a second look.
"With an informant like this, he will lie and plant things and he can't really be trusted," said Robert Outlar, of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
The Schenectady County Sheriff Dominic Dagostino told NEWS10 the informant is facing perjury and possession charges, but they do not believe there were any other problems with this informant ? except that he skipped town. Dagostino said his officers are now hunting him down.
The informant was used in seven cases, two of which led to convictions.
I guess it's back to business as usual at Dabb City.
These dumb fucks that keep bringing up race are playing DIRECTLY into the hands of the corrupt system.
The ONLY war is the class war.
WRONG.
The only "war" is the war of the political elites to gain more and more power for themselves. They are the only ones who have the power to use force legally against the rest of us. Every other so called "war" is nonsense, including the "class war", since you can choose to not associate with, or do business with, anyone else, EXCEPT government. Government is the only entity or person that is "allowed" to use force to make you follow their rules and do what they say and not let you simply walk away from them.
All other "wars" are smoke and mirrors in order to distract and divide us.

yes but the government runs on money. So while it's nice to think the only 'bad guy' is the 'big bad government', in reality it's the people behind the scenes

which is business, which makes it a class war.
No. because it's only the people with connections to government that can use that influence. There are plenty of successful people out there that do not connect themselves to government and it's use of force at all. "Class war" implies all financially successful people against all those who are not. However the majority of successful people do NOT use government against the poor, whereas ALL government uses force against EVERYONE else, including financially successful people. Note the use of civil forfeiture laws used by governments to seize wealth and assets from rich people without trial or even charges being made. If it was a class war, then the rich people that use influence in government would not use it's power against other rich people, whom they would consider their "allies" in the "class war".
.
edit: Furthermore, governments don't need rich people to finance them. They can simply take the money by force, using taxes, inflation of fiat currency, and borrowing. Although individuals in government can obviously be bribed by money, and almost always are, it is the power that we give to governments (Eg: regulating your competitors out of business), that make those individuals worth bribing in the first place.

i think the problem is those people consider themselves 'rich'. But hey, shit rolls down hill, yes?
remind me again who wins the wars? makes the technological discoveries? shaped everything good about the world?

Wars is the only business that government has a legitimate hand in, i.e. use of force to defend against attack.
Technological discoveries and shaping good things in the world have been done by individuals and groups of people, in spite of governments, not because of them.
Also, as I added to my last post:

but it always ends up being the 'big bad government', when in reality it's powerful interests directly tied to cash cow resources
