So we have 3 dogs and just got a new pit puppy from the pound a couple of weeks ago, everything has been fine up until the lat few days.
Basically, what is happening is, one of the other dogs will be passed the fuck out sleeping or walking through the rec room when the little one will just randomly run up to them and bite them on their leg, face, as, anywhere she can grab ahold.
Any idea how we can stop her doing this, she doesn't seem to be bothering the others too much with this but, at the same time, they are fully grown dog 4 or 5 times her size and, although they are extremely passive animals, I foresee the puppy biting one of them at the wrong time and them attacking, before it gets to that i want to nip this in the bud, any suggestions short of what we're already doing - thwacking her on the nose when we see her?
