Hey resource sites: Wait until a site is freaking open before you list it
Boggles the mind how many of you numb nuts are in such a hurry to list a site that you don't even check to see if it's active or not, or even open to affiliates.
No wonder so many of you complain of poor sales, you're linking to sites you can't get paid on, and neither can anyone else. Clicking through one resource site I stopped counting how many sites were not live yet, but there they were, listed as new sites. And just as a FYI, I set your account to 0% when you do this. If you're too dumb to notice a site isn't even active yet, I don't want you as an affiliate when it does open. </rant> |

They do it for SEO I guess. I sometimes see guys building blogs about sites weeks before the sites are even fully functional.
