My nick came from a website I made years ago called animefevers.net, I sold that site a long time ago and it's still online.

From a very bad day at the office in 2000ish and my usually corporate side being replaced with my "ghetto side" for an hour as I lost it on the staffers that were fucking off.

A few weeks later I was turned into GFY while working at LikeWhoa! ... (yes, that LikeWhoa) and needed a nickname which for whatever reason, Herb Kornfield stuck as I saw others with every day names (Nina, Pete the Fly, $tandaMan, Franky White )
