All legit here, I've cracked things before but as a rule of thumb I'm suspicious of doing business with anyone who has pirated goods, especially in quantity. It's a sign of a bad mindset. :2 cents:

Yes, OEM versions are only to be used on the original system they are installed on. Retail versions may be moved to a new system.

Used too back in Windows XP days. But now I have a legit copy of Windows 7. I think my old laptop has a cracked version of Windows XP still.

Hell NO don't trust things like that and don't like using software I don't buy.. All my software I use photoshop,vegas etc. is paid 100% in full for.

My copy is pirated. I installed it before Windows officially hit the stores. I loved it and used it for a few weeks. I bought a DVD with the same version but didn't install it since the one I am using was working so great.

Now it sits next to my monitor collecting dust.

I used to have a cracked Windows, due to me paying for it, but the activation not working because I reformatted my computer every 3 months to keep it clean and apparently they only allow it to be installed so many times...

Now I use a Mac and don't have Apple telling me I can only reformat my computer and reinstall OS X 3 times or be forced to pay $100 for a new copy (Which by the way, OS X is only $30.)

What 3 time reinstall?I reinstalled winxp like billions of time and activation process still working like a charm.

It's quite common to see even major businesses in China still running Windows 2000 or XP as they were the last editions that didn't require activation.

There was a major issue a while back about a major Beijing law firm being caught using stolen software on all of their office machines.
