How about a permanent sticky at the top of the forum called "Bannings". It would be a mod post only sticky viewable by everyone. In it, you guys would put who was banned, when and why. Perhaps with a link to the post that broke the camel's back.
It would serve as a warning to all others, kind of like putting their heads on the top of spears at the village entrance.
And, now that I have your attention. When is B.Barnato going to be unbanned? We are half way through the new month. I am sure he has learned whatever lesson it was that he was supposed to learn (see, if there was a "Banning" sticky I would have the detail and I would know what lesson he should have learned. See how helpful that would be?).
