        Yes they bought them legally because that is their right protected by the constitution. They don't have the right, however, to use the gun to randomly murder people, we have things against that called "laws."                                                                                                                                                                                                     Under laying issue = gangs. Today's tragedy aside, most gun crime in the US is gang related.
