Some will let you, then all of a sudden have a change of heart and want you to hand it over along with your generated sales and rebills. It's becoming a joke to promote sponsors now-a-days.
one of the domains was outranking the site on google and yahoo, bringing in almost $10k a year and the affiliate program cut the account and kept the rebills. After being fine with it for years.
happened again earlier this year too, but was only making about $400 a month and growing, this program too kept the rebills. after being fine with it for over 5 years.
its all fun and games till you start making money off "their" name, despite the fact that you put in the time to make it. then they get upset and think they are paying you for nothing.
time are tight, people go back on their word as far as whats allowable and what is not.
That's really bad, I could understand them lowering your percentage if you were outranking them for the name of their site, even that's not nice, but it's a least a middle-ground.

Exactly... It's crazy how some sponsor react nowadays.
Its crazy that they ATTACK the affiliates, the hard working people sending them SALES!
