as long as the jail owners dont know about it its ok if he gets violated...so long as the sodomy is inmate initiated the jail owners have no responsibility

Quote from Nathan (Fabian Thylmann), on GFY, dated Nov 25th, 2012 (just a few weeks ago):
Quote:
Actually, I can see a slight resemblance - pudgy, same receding hairline, beady eyes, thin lips, jowls... Kidding aside, some of the comments in this thread, while understandable (given the number of people that Nathan has pissed off while mocking them), I still feel some are inappropriate (sodomy comments, etc). I'm not losing any sleep over Fabian getting arrested, and frankly I'm really not surprised about the nature of the charges, and think that this could just be the tip of the iceberg that potentially could sink Manwin, and take a lot of people down with it. All that said, I certainly am not one to wish that Fabian, or anyone in jail for that matter, be violated by sodomy while in custody. It's enough for me that he faces the charges, and if found guilty, pays the price of his crime(s). I have no doubt that Fabian should be able to muster some pretty decent legal representation, and if it comes to that, he will get his day in court to defend himself/Manwin against whatever allegations he/they may face. By now, Fabian probably has a good idea about what kind of information the German government has against him, and what new information they may be able to glean from the computers and documents which they seized in raids upon his offices and home. If Fabian is the "frontman" many believe him to be, his benefactors/investors/partners/un-indicted co-conspirators, are going to want to take care of their investment, one way or another (to ensure his silence in case he holds any information which could implicate them in any criminal wrongdoing). If they are good people, he will get all of the money he needs to defend himself/Manwin. If not, then that says a lot about the kind of people that Nathan chose to get into business with. Either way, I imagine poor Fabian's credit rating is going to take a hit even if the charges don't stick, so consequences will never be the same, no matter how this plays out. Worst case, he's still young. He'll still be under 50 if he gets out in 15 years. Hopefully this will serve as a warning to crooks (or would be crooks) in the biz, that nobody is invulnerable. It will be interesting to see if Nathan is going to emerge from this a changed person, or follow the tactics of his fellow countryman Kim Dotcom. ADG |

I'm sorry but this thread is hilarious. First of all the money flowing into Manwin is Wall Street, hedge fund money. The board is 90% mainstream. For the first time in our industry you are talking about the true mainstreaming of an adult company. Sure you might consider Playboy, Hustler & Noof but nothing like what has been happening with Manwin. They will have a team of attorney's , accountants etc.
Then consider the multi-national nature of their business and it's not all that surprising that something like this has happened. Look at the major brands that have had serious tax issues just this year: Dolce & Gabbana ( accused of evading more than ?400 million in tax ) Sprint ( Accused of $300-million in tax fraud ) Starbucks ( Accused of exploiting British tax laws to move UK-made profits overseas ) Google ( Accused of exploiting tax laws to move profits overseas ) Amazon ( Accused of exploiting tax laws to move profits overseas ) Google has picked Ireland and Bermuda as its main bases, while coffee chain Starbucks has its European base in The Netherlands and pays British tax only after transferring large sums in royalties to its Dutch headquarters. Retailer Amazon paid 1.8 million pounds ($2.9 million) in British tax in 2011, on turnover of 207 million pounds. This kind of thing happens all the time. It almost always gets sorted out in the end. With the mainstreaming of Manwin.. I'll bet this all gets sorted out as well. |

the thing that makes me laugh about the Cologne warrant is that Fabes, he likes to be called Fabes now, in the showers, you know, anyway, Germany makes hookers register and pay taxes...They also make the part timers and out of towners, streetwalkers, pay a parking meter fee to work the street. No fee, they get busted. Country like that, which I like, is going to do a number on him. I am sure party invites are being handed out to every country they (Manwin) have an office in. I am sure Fabes is up to his soon to be expanding anus in the biz affairs. I hope the cops are watching his family. |

There are many people who were richer and more famous than him. I can't think of a single case were the accused Celebrity has gotten significant Jail time. Just two important cases were Steffi Graf (tennis player), her father took the blame for it and got 3 years, of which he served about 1,5 years. Dr. Zumwinkel, was the CEO of the German Post Service. He got 2 years, of which he didn't serve a single day (same verdict for Boris Becker, a very wealthy tennis player). Even in the USA, the largest tax evasion case in US History has lead to merely 7 years for the accused http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_..._(entrepreneur) That being said, the US Justice System is a lot harder, and gives a lot more jail time for comparable cases. Murder for example, frequently leads to life in prison or the death sentence. In Germany, it's not uncommon to get 15-20 Years for Murder. Long story short, in Germany, accusations about Personal Income Tax Evasion, are very unlikely to lead to any jail time at all. |

In practice of course the vast majority of Prostitutes do not pay any taxes. With even a remote knowledge of the subject, it's absolutely obvious that the vast majority of Prostitutes in Germany are from Abroad and may only stay weeks, months. It's absurd to believe they will pay taxes under these circumstances. Quote:
Reality is far from that, especially when it comes to white-collar crime. Just one example, there is no German Bernie Madoff, nobody ever got 150 years in Jail for committing white collar crime in Germany (and there have been similar cases). If this is only about tax evasion in Germany, I think it is unlikely he will get any jail time. |

Xmas bonuses for all employees who do not roll on Nathan... I wonder how Nathan wronged the informant, or if he even knows who it is yet? Angry ex-lover, leftover employee from a previous regime, newly hired/fired, an ethical person with a conscious? So many employees to choose from. Or maybe it is more than one informant already... Once investigators start flashing badges and conducting one-on-one interrogations, which the translated article above alludes to as having already started to happen, Nathan had better hope that his employees are more loyal than scared, or that they don't know nuthin' about nuthin', as the expression goes. Of course this could all be just some simple misunderstanding that led to raids at multiple locations, confiscated computers and records, and an arrest in a different country. I hope for his sake that Fabian is not the paranoid type, because this could really put him off his game if so (although, now I guess he has a good reason to be paranoid, because some people apparently are out to get Fabian/Manwin, since it has escalated into government intervention and Fabian's arrest). Chris Mallick should have saved everyone's ePassporte money and made a movie about what is going down now instead of making his own ego bomb - he could call it Fabian's Follies or the Manwin Meltdown...everyone would have been rich and lived happily ever after, or it would have at least had a happy ending (just like in the porn movies). Pirates in Jail, whatever next ?
First Kim Dot Com and now Mr Thylmann, both in jail.
Who would have thought such a thing could happen. Theives in prison - and I was always told this was the new way of doing things. Nothing could be done about it. The best thing you could do was give the thieves your content, save them stealing it, then hope you could pick up a few crumbs off the floor when they had finished their feast. Damian and Gideon. What a tag team they were.......the good old days.

All I want to say is: "time will only tell"
Europa / EU has at the moment some financial issues and every step the government can do to get his hands on more money, it will do. Even if it means getting involved and questioning the tax laws. The tax laws in Europe are complicated and get more complicated each day, and if the tax money is on the state bank account, it will get interest for each day it lies there, so it's a win-win for the government and getting that money back can last for a long time!!

From what I read, the issue started from (and for now it is just) the mydirtyhobby old Germans-only site which Fabian operated before to expand (with loan from someone) to Canada's mansef, and next mostly north American's acquisitions.
In particular the Cyprus trick to pay less tax (and VAT, who gave issue to AFF before too) it was busted as customers and performers of the site are all German Citizens, as well as offices from where it is operated. As Mike South "found", the Cyprus Vasillis Kaiser Souzer Kasillis trick it is very popular, but as someone else posted a meme "I don't do tax evasion; but if I do, I don't do it in Germany", I would add, where customers and employees are both german citizens. I don't think Manwin made it 100% shady, as I remember having paid trafficjunky (the pornhub ad network) from at least 2011 with a wire to Commerzbank of Hamburg and an German company, not to Cyprus, so it could be the supposed issue is about what been done several years ago... in fact the tax people are always 1 to 3 years delayed with accountings. They can bust you today, even if you fixed it all, because they just figured you was doing wrong 3 years ago. About mydirtyhobby I remember Fabian replying personally to the support forum, in fact I think at some point was doing this full time, before of mansef->manwin expansion, it hsould have been around 2009 when mydirtyhobby was supposedly bought by Virage (COHA GmbH? Fiscal Group Limited of Gibraltar?)... so my Guess it is the German tax guys are just about years old issue with mydirtyhobby, which they checked with today's assets which included all the north america stuff they wonder where it pops from. About Colbette Holdings (Cyprus) that was the ownership of webcams.com which was bought in 2010, so it is again 2, nearly 3 years ago stuff. It could be likely be that they have to pay a fine for some german/cyprus questionable triangulation made in 2009-2010, then find that 2011 to today it is "ok". Unsure if really there's jail for this stuff, esp. if you pay your fines, it depends on German law and I know other countries law more.

Rather than F5 this thread (gfy = jokes or false/old info), just google for "Ulrich Bremer" Thylmann, it's quite mainstream now, includes Washington Post:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Ul...er%22+Thylmann The (you)porn thing make the topic gossip valued for journalists so they may talk a lot about it, probably in misleading way to make it more spicy. I wonder if tax guys in other countries for ex. Canada may read news too, some prosecutor may want to be famous or think it helps career and get the idea "Ehi! We are prosecuring this guy too, interview me too!".
