just because someone is a "real pornographer" it doesnt give him any special rights or benefits - actually some of them are quite the asshole in person.

a site like MyDirtyHobby (and the money it obviously makes as well all know now) is proof that nothing more is needed than a cheap camera to create porn - no director, no photographer, no pornographer...

I don't know what you mean about them thinking they get certain rights, they are just like everyone else. Maybe I missed a post somewhere. In regards to amateur porn, that is in a class by itself. True amateur porn isn't produced, it's just recorded as is. That is what makes it so hot, it's REAL! Well, as long as it is real. Regarding press for tax evasion, I have a feeling much of Fabian's press is due to others making sure the word gets out and the brand and his name tarnished. It's news because of the enormous reach of all those tube sites. Your average surfer might not know who Fabian is, but everyone knows what Youporn is. There is probably a significant chunk of the (especially younger) population that is only dimly aware of what Hustler is.

A few years ago it was considered a significant landmark when the Hun broached 1 million hits a day. Now we have a handful of organizations controlling tens if not hundreds of millions of unique hits a day worldwide - more than many TV networks.

Well, sort of ;) First, it´s not true that Manwin sued for an "upcoming" story, they filed for a story that was already printed and claimed it would have false allegations in it. This is also common practice here: Any media outlet can claim whatever they want, but if they are factually wrong you can prevent them from saying it again.

So, the story of "Die Welt" was taken offline, but of course still existed in the printed newspaper. After that, so Welt reports further, an insider of Manwin contacted them with new documents, and they handed that to the DA. It depends on the kind of crime, but there are cases where even journalists tend to do that, because they are running the risk of being an "aide" in tarnishing a crime.

Here´s another but: The DA told Welt that the tax investigators have been following Manwin ever since the end of 2010. So, the whole theory that reports by "Die Welt" started it all seems wrong.

Major german newswire dpa reports that Fabian is in Germany, was seen by a judge, and remains in german jail for now.

One source that talked to the DA directly says that it is unclear, whether there will be a bail hearing before christmas or not.

One source that talked to the DA directly says that it is unclear, whether there will be a bail hearing before christmas or not.
