When buying content do you obtain the copyrights to your material? If not do you need to license the use of copyrighted material? Does anyone have any places they would suggest when buying material? Thanks.

If you buy exclusive rights you own the copyright to the material ... there is differenceses in how content providers do it , some keep some rights ... maybe to magazines ....

In other cases, the photographer simply works for you for a fee, and in the end you own the photos and all rights, lock, stock, and barrel. This is how I work. If I do exclusive for you, I have no claim whatsoever on the work once I'm paid.
