WA marijuana grower kills two robbers..

The possession of pot became legal in the state Thursday after voters passed a measure decriminalizing it in November. Day two kicked off with more celebrations under the Space Needle tower, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported, but the Pierce County Sheriff's Department investigated an attempted robbery in Puyallup at an alleged growing center foiled by a homeowner who shot two alleged burglars in front of his 9-year-old son.

I have no problems with the homeowner killing the two burglars. It's not a question about marijuana legality. It's the principle of someone invading someone's sanctuary (their home) and stealing items that do not belong to them. Quite a number of years ago, our family did the same thing, we killed two burglars who attempted to break into our home for a second time after they was successful the first time and made away with quite a number of valuables totaling over $40,000. Then they made a mistake of trying it again a few days later. We suspected it there was a chance we would be hit again as they left behind several valuables after the first break in. We were waiting and they paid the ultimate price for it, and best of all, our actions was all legal in canadian law as I was living in Canada at the time. Despite the girl's and guy's family pressuring the DA to file charges on grounds that it was premeditated on our end. However, the law was written that anyone breaking into someone's home/property, the owner has the legal right to protect himself and his family by any and all means necessary. Not to mention it was hard for the "criminal's" families to get any sympathy from the public as the girl and guy who did the break ins were well known to the police as they did do several break ins before, and had several drug and violent related offenses against them so they were no saints.

So getting back to this story, I am on the side of the homeowner and applaude him for killing the burglars. I hope they suffered a painful slow deaths like the one we enjoyed seeing with our burglars It's true when they say money don't always buy happiness. For us, this event was especially true.

Wow, the premeditated issue is interesting. I would say that the moment you buy a gun you are planning use it if someone hurts or threatens your family. That is just logic. Good for you.

              Wow, so true.

I had totally premeditated to buy a gun one day so I can kill someone when they try to kill me. I have seen the light and will change.

The current system still invites this, same thing happened to home based stills all over America during and after prohibition.

Hopefully this can be a teaching moment for anyone thinking of robbing a grow op, legal or not, the owner is probably going to shoot you

These people are making death fights because of marijuana plants in the attic. That seems unacceptable. Legalization sure changes laws.

Before legalization, people would hesitate to say, “Your honor, he stole my illegal marijuana.”

The indian bums that broke in obviously won't have money for a lawyer so it will be on contingency.
