If you are questioning it then dont get it. I just went through the same thing recently. I was hemming and hauning over whether or not to get the new ipad that just came out. I took the plunge, at the end of the day wound up spending close to 600d ollarsfor the ipad 16GB and sleeve/case. It literally sat on my night stand more often that not. I would have to force myself to put my phone down in order to utilize this thing that my phone could do anyway. Needless to say I returned it and havent missed it one bit.

You don't like to sit on the couch and surf with a big screen while you watch TV?

Maybe its different for me because I am constantly communicating with people with my iphone. I get a text, have to put down the pad, get the iphone meanwhile i can be doing that very thing on my phone. To me it was a glorified smart phone and gaming pad. If i used it more I would have kept it but it was something I personally needed to get out of my system. Something you need to experience to realize if it was the right or wrong choice.

Whats wrong with you? Watch TV + surf internet at the same time? Maybe do something else as well? Multitasking gone seriously wrong these days for some people...

I said I wouldn't buy an iPad either. It is, after all, just a giant iPod. But really after using the Motorola Xoom, and a multitude of various Android tablets... with the iPad update to the 2048x1536 screen... it became obvious the giant iPod offered the very best hardware specs and overall performance, and user experience. The overall fluidity of the animations and scrolling is head and shoulders more polished than Android devices.

When you get a chance, put the Transformer Prime TF700t (the most premium Android tablet currently on the market... with the Tegra 3 quad-core processor) next to the iPad 4 and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. My friends who own those tablets didn't even realize their devices had this issue that is painfully obvious when the devices are sitting next to eachother.

I've had an ipad since they were first released, at first i got tons of usage, now i've got a samsung s3 phone and I use that for everything as the screen is generally big enough and it is always with me, only time I use the pad is on trips, its perfect for carrying around, grabbing your emails on the move etc, so if you're on the move alot then yeah!
