Been watching Gold Rush Alaska and you have to work very very hard to find more incompetent people running a gold mine, Todd is clueless and his father just do what he wants to do.
If it weren't for them being on a "reality" show they would have been on food stamps a long time ago.

If Jungle Gold is real then it is pretty obvious that the partners are ripping them off and just pretending to not run dirt. No gold in three days and it is the days you didn't show up??? Wow who would have thought. I actually shut it off after 15 mnutes as it was obvious they are not ever going to get anything going.

jungle gold is awesome. there are easier better ways to make money though. those guys are risking their lives.

I saw a video on Youtube of a couple guys going to lake superior and running black sand on the beach for a weekend and they each came away with a small vial of gold.

That's what I would like to do.
Go camp on the beach, drink some beer, and come home with some gold in my pocket.
It's a 9 hour drive from here though...

Didn't matter that they didn't show up, they still got their share. The partners only make money when gold is found, there is no ripping them off. Takes days of digging to get down to the pay gravel with gold in it. That wash ended up with only 5k in gold. Its obvious the Romaso claim is basically worthless, but their partners just don't want to give up on it.

I've read enough first hand accounts of what is going on in the African gold rush to know that Jungle Gold is real, but like any reality TV, its obviously edited for dramatic effect.

Been watching Gold rush... but the jungle gold thing just doesn't seem interesting to me ... However i would not be against going up to Alaska or where ever and doing some hard ass work mining some gold !

I really hope you are trolling. This show isn't even filmed in Ghana, much less are their "stars" mining there. Are you serious?

Again, has to be drama because there is no way any intelligent person can fuck up that bad. Hell, the kid and Fred both kicking ass using much much less.

I watch it too and it seems like Todd just moves forward and doesn't think ahead. You would think you would be on the manufacturer of your wash plant weeks before the season started to make sure it was going to be done on time not weeks into the season. It also seems like they are always scrambling to do things now that they are behind that they should have done before they even started. If you really know what you are doing the first day you are on the site you should be ready to roll.

The kid is rocking this year. He was smart and spent the off season getting stuff fixed and ready so right out the gate he was washing dirty and finding gold.

nobody can fuck up 2 years in a row and still mine a third year with magic investors
look how broke they where at the end of the first season and by magic they can still run for a second

Its most definitely filmed in Ghana, don't confuse it with Gold Rush: The Jungle, which was filmed in Guyana, South America. Numerous Ghanaian have come forward in protest over how the show has depicted certain towns and culture within the country.
