    the Snake is dead

    one of the last few good tgps just sold out last week - Snake's World.

    i found this out the hard way - my 3-month partner pass stopped working about 5 weeks into the run lol. since Snake didn't email me with a refund, and his email is now bouncing, i guess he is just going to steal the remainder of my fees.

    for those of you that say tgps are dead, Snake was sending between 20-200k uniques to each of our galleries before he sold out and switched his site to a tube. tgps aren't dead, but Snake's World now is.

    RIP - and i hope you buy something nice with the money you stole from me you fucking scumbag.

              I figured he would have refunded those with submit passes. I guess your reputation isn't as important after you sell your site.

                                          a lot of submitters redirect mobile traffic like if they paid $25 they now own my surfers. so it goes both ways. I understand why so little sites accept submissions now a days.

                                              While I absolutely agree 100% with you about redirecting surfers to another site, I also honestly think it's a good thing if you offer a mobile version of the exact gallery page and let surfers choose which one to view. In other words, if they really want to see the less friendly mobile version, they can click the "full version" option.

                                              The problem is that many submitters, link exchangers, etc (to us anyway), will sell their mobile traffic and then ultimately redirect traffic off the site so when a person clicks a link on our page, they are not at all given what they expected. We delete these pretty fast. It is for this same reason I would never, and have never, skimmed and traded. I want those who click our links to get exactly what they expect.

                                              I think I had only a few weeks left on my Snakes Pass. Funny though... prior to renewing last time, I actually wrote him and asked was he selling to them next, and he replied telling me "no" and that he even deleted their email right away. I guess they must have upped their offer.

                                              Like I said in the other thread, great to see PinkWorld still rocking -- I hope he never sells. Such a great guy to deal with.

                                                  200k to each gallery, right, the whole TGP has not had 200k in a single day for maybe 2 years and then the question is, how many of those were Indians and Chinese.

                                                      Uniques: 133,672
                                                      PageViews: 3.69 (we do not use standard TGP's though)
                                                      Duration: 04:09 minutes
                                                      BounceRate: 43.50%
                                                      Countries (Top 5): USA, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia (India and China were not even top 10. In fact China was #26 and India was #28)

                                                      Overall, I'd consider SnakesWorld used to have some of the better traffic insofar as TGP sites are/were concerned.

                                                              SpicyM, might have been a typo. I don't think anyone sends 200k to a single gallery any more, not even TheHun. Even in these times, however, TheHun can still deliver 100k to a gallery depending on placement. Pretty incredible when you think about it -- non-skim text links tgp -- it doesn't get much more old school than that.
