    You never know where a business idea can come from

    A friend of mine's wife is a chef. A few years back for Christmas she got a really nice KitchenAid mixer. Her cousin does auto body work so he offered to paint flames on it. She let him and it looks cool.

    About six months later he lost his job at the auto body shop. Instead of getting another job he bought a dozen KitchenAid mixers and gave them all custom paint jobs then sold them on Ebay for a nice profit. Now he has turned it into a full time job. He does those Mixers as well as X-boxes, Nintendo Wii's and Play Stations. He is busy enough that he just hired someone to take over the shipping and handling stuff full time.

              Custom paint is cool, buy hydro-dipping is the current rage. Tell your friend to look into it, I dont think I've ever seen anyone do a hydro-dipped kitchenaid before.

                          Lots of people do fake carbon fibre car parts here with that.

                          Must be lots of appliances that could be painted as well as the mixer too.

                              I took a look at some stuff done with that and it was pretty cool. I'll mention it to him, I think it could be put to good use by him.

                                                                      To be honest I have no idea if the paint he uses can stand up to heat. I would guess it could get warm and be okay, but toasters can get pretty hot so it might not be able to do that, but I can ask him.
