:stop The 6 biggest cancelations of the 2012 TV season

2. 666 Park Avenue (ABC)
Another ABC casualty: 666 Park Avenue, which tells the story of an upscale Manhattan apartment building plagued by supernatural (and possibly demonic forces). Though the series' creators have promised "a powerful and surprising series finale, where all your questions will be answered," actor Dave Annable, the male lead, took the news harder, tweeting that ABC "fucked up" when it didn't take the series' impressive DVR numbers into consideration before cancelation.

I hope they at least air the final. I hate to watch a TV show and just be left hanging.

666 is a GREAT show imho, I've watched every epp so far and can't gush enough about it.

if you are a fan of the movie "The Devils Advocate" you too would love 666, it just feels to me like a TV Show version of that movie.

The only real prob with the show is the timeslot it was put into

Good article, thanks for the post. Props to the networks that still plan to air remaining episodes for the fans that do care.

Just as the show is getting good, it's about to go off the air. ABC is pulling the plug after it finishes airing the 13 episodes already in the can. That's sad because viewers probably will be left with a fist full of questions and no final answers.

luckily the show creators had enough time to tweak the 13th epp so it WILL give us fans answers and closure

http://tvline.com/2012/11/21/last-re...nale-spoilers/

The show IS very good all around, very strong cast, great storylines, with any luck maybe one of the cable networks will pick it up for more seasons

Count me as a big fan of 666 Park Avenue and I will miss it. I watched every episode and enjoyed the characters and the situations.

There is currently a pretty big campaign to save the show, I'm not saying it will work, but since they announced the cancel on Nov 16th Fans have rallied on Facebook, Twitter and blogs and this HAS shown ABC there IS a strong following AND they DID allow all 13 epps to be aired AND they allowed the last epp to be redone.

There is also a small chance ABC will switch the timeslot for the show to see if the live ratings pick up more and if that happens the show MAY get a 2nd chance so to speak.

one of the biggest issues the show has is it's crappy timeslot, Sunday 10pm has been a bad slot for ABC for quite some time.

The shows live ratings are low BUT the DVR ratings are much much higher showing there IS a following, but ABC only cares about the live ratings they are able to monetize.

Not ness, for example two things:

1) Ff the org plan was to end epp 13 on a cliffhanger and instead they reworked it to answer the big questions there is still PLENTY of room to keep the story going for a 2nd season

2) (more easy to do lol) they would not KILL/THROW OUT/SHIT CAN the epps already created so IF ABC decided to keep the show they could just run the org filmed epps with no final answers revealed.

Last Resort had potential, but the plot couldn't sustain itself. They couldn't hide out on the island for long with the entire US military knowing it was there without doing something.

I also don't understand any lawyer shows. Never did.

SOA is on tonight!

It's so sad that writers fuck up great shows. It's happened in the past so many times that I decided not to watch any show until they make it to the 4th or 5th season. BTW, "breaking bad" is da shit.

I love 666 Park Avenue too! I never watch shows until they are in their 2nd season (because so many get cancelled after a show or two, let alone half a season). It looked (and is) so good that I made an exception. Now I feel stupid. Hopefully ABC will change their mind!
