My all time top 2 consistent strains that never ever let me down:

NY Sour Diesel: Great sativa, smells like skunk piss and tastes like heaven.

Purple Kush: Awesome Indica if you can get the real thing, smells and tastes like sweet candy... so much so that you want to eat a raw bud.

Of course those are not the strongest or most "exotic" strains, but they are the most consistent for me.

I once smoked some shit back in 06 that had a blue hue to it. No name, nothing, just was told it was imported from Canada. Never seen it again, but that was the very best weed I have ever smoked.

Any blue dream type strain is always my top pick. There are so many variations now depending on the grower and the shop. Overall any good sativa is what I like to smoke all day to keep me up and going. Then I will also use an indica concentrate for bedtime sometimes.

I'm a huge fan of anything highly indica. White Widow is way up there.

Otherwise, the tastiest to me has always been Blueberry/Bubblegum/Bubbleberry.
