b)when i say you will be making 10x ROI, that statement was a generalization based on the context of the conversation. but as far as contractual language, like in any business there is no garuntee on money you make. c)we have over 35 people running their own operations and making money. d)we have a target market willing to pay $39.95 for membership into our network. :winkwink: like i said, its all about if this type of business is for you. the skeptics actually end up making more people get started. so thank you. |
this is not a 'franchise' per se , each branch is an independent representative of the company.
------------------------------------------------------- So you describe the "employee" as a sub-contractor... and NOT an employee or francisee. Hence, if legal troubles develop due to running a "branch" of your company the "sub-contractor" is on his/her own. lol The line about your attorney was subterfuge to cloud someones mind. Yet the fee's... those ARE franchise related. You can't have both under most state laws. Sub-contractors paying a "fee" is paying for the rights to do the work........ ....H'mmmmm, you'd better check with the Rico Act on that subject. Someone paying to be a subcontractor is buying their way in, which discriminates against other like-minded "fair" subs. I'm not sure what a DA might call it. But I know what they call it in NYC. If someone on the fence falls for this 'great opportunity' due to a skeptic expressing real questions which you slide by with the "it might not be for everyone line", then they need to talk to a lawyer first a shrink right after. :1orglaugh |
Damnit!!! And I wanted to be a PIMP!! Had my fur hat all picked out! :winkwink:

If I'm not mistaken, he's in California. And California has some of the toughest laws on this kind of thing. But I think it's pretty obvious he doesn't care much about the law anyway. |
Why would any successful webmaster with $2k and the know-how pay to get into such a bad situation?
They could easily do this on their own... I don't see anything unique about this. That, and if I wanted to buy my own local setup for a franchise, I would open that Aunt Anne's pretzel shop at the mall I have been dreaming about for years... or kick $100k towards bringing Del Taco to the Bay Area. Our biz is not the place to sell franchise licenses. And the phrase "hiring" referred to in the title of this thread is mis-leading. I have worked many six figure jobs, and none required a cent from me. In fact, they all gave me high 4 figure bonuses for signing on. What a scam! Send these guys your 2k and set aside 20k for your legal bills. Hell, you're probably better off (and legally safer) sending money to those spammers who want to talk to you about "home-based business opportunities." |

our marketing gameplan has proven succesful thus far. the cost's of starting up are what they are. we are taking on an innovative approach to direct marketing both in the real world and on the internet to help our company grow. the concept is simple, everyone involved in our operation makes money and are motivated by profit, we use our rep's as marketing agents on a large scale to cover as many markets as we can, while the reps use us as a backbone for their local market operations on the small scale. say a business traveler is a member of our network, they travel from city to city, they can log into our site from wherever and browse the entertainers we have in the locations we have listed, managed by the branch operators.. the business traveler can then book the entertainer online or call the branch operator directly. the branch operator who merely books the appointment, keeps all the profits and pays out the entertainer, none being skimmed by the company. as the branch operator promotes for there own location, they in turn are promoting the company as a whole. they are expanding our client base and creating more awareness of the company. this concept works for all aspects of "entertainment" in which we are involved with. a mere database of entertainers for any occasion is accessible worldwide 24/7. our company promotes entertainment for one on ones, parties, private viewings, special events, club?s, print and film work, internet content, netmeetings, modeling and much much more. there are so many angles for enterprenuerial minds to financialy gain off of our set up. you are paying for the support and know how and for the opportunity to make money with an innovative established company. we are growing at a phenomenal rate, and the people who are involved enjoy what they are doing and enjoy being a part of this operation. as far as legalities, everything is done by the book. no one is cutting corners or undermining our operation. we keep a close realtionship with each rep involved with our company. we have contracts with all contractors who contract work (entertainers) from us and the branch locations. this is a perfectly legal business model that has been scrutinized by our expert legal team and caused us no complications thus far. if you play by the rules, you will succeed, we are here for the long run. i dont see why certain people are being so negative towards us. i am not a negative person but i am a skeptic. rather than bash a fellow entreprenuer i would ask questions or ask for clarification, not try to defamate character. thats real petty and childish. but i dont want to finish this post on a sour note. i hope this rant brings some more clarification as to what we are trying to accomplish and how you can benefit from our company. once again if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me at any time. i love meeting new people :thumbsup |

Basically you are asking for $2000.00 so someone can call themselves a pimp.
Nothing more. This is stupid. |

actually, what bums me out the most is that this is like franchising a degradation factory for any females who want to make some extra money.
it isn't just doing shoots or video in a controlled enviroment, it is like saying to a girl "hey, we will whore you out ANY way we can make a buck off you." "one on one, dancing, parties, modelling - if someone will pay us for your sweet, sweet ass, we will gladly facilitate it! don't worry your pretty little head about those complex money issues, we will make sure you're taken care of!" who is recruiting the girls? if it is each local franchise, do you screen them for past offenses? get to know if they are people you would want repping your brand name, or if they have $2k are they ok by you? do you give them brochures on effective manipulation and sales techniques for bringing new girls into the stable? a copy of the book "Pimp" by Iceberg Slim? some Too Short records? copies of "Pimps Up, Hoes Down" on DVD? guides on breaking a bitch written by Mr. White Folks...? |

bottom line is our concept is innovative and our plan is effective. x: a life lesson to all reading this post, dont sit around and think about things and analyze them to hard, run with them and adapt to the changes. you will become more successful that way. everyone involved in our operation shares the same vision.... life doesnt come with instructions, if you think that a little bird is going to fly to you and spell out for you how to become succesful, you need to change your mentality. you need to take a chance at something new and adapt to the changes that come with it. we are providing a vehicle. the people involved with our operation are using this vehicle to create a lifestyle for themselves they only dreamt about. its true most are already successful and doing it as a side venture, but being a part of something in the begining that is expanding so quickly is a reward in itself. seeing other's succeed with us is far more important than anything else. i wish the best of luck and good health to all of the skeptics replying to this post :thumbsup |

to answer your question, we deal with "booking agents" which are also contractors who recruit entertainers and also secure bookings for the company. they recieve %'s off of the entertainers they recruit as well as the bookings they secure, they also recieve bonuses for recruiting other "booking agents". if you are really in the content business, you should know that you can never have to many talent scouts running around recruiting entertainers. the world is a huge place with alot of talent, the more people getting talent for you the merrier. btw. we are not exploting anyone, we are providing work for entertainers looking for work. :thumbsup AKFK, you must be drinking hatorade tonite :glugglug |

Translation: The only people who are going to lay down $2000 for this PIMP FRANCHISE are the ones who have not analyzed the offer carefully or given any thought to the legal implications. |

Rob, I didn't even attempt to bash you let alone slander (libel actually) you. If I were to have set out to do that, trust me, that you'd know it.
As an ex dancer with quite a few years experience, I have seen this sort of BS before. Sans the net of course as it wasn't that big back then, but it was the same deal. We had a LOT of undercover cops, ATF agents and the like frequent the dance bars in this area and I knew quite a few pretty well. I asked about this sort of thing out of curiosity and they had ONE word... RICO. Interstate sexual commerce (prostitution rings) seem/s to be against the law. You can call them entertainers, performers or what have you, but when the nickel drops, the "members" you speak of want sex, pure and simple. (Personal opinion that I'm sure any state level or higher attorney or police officer could answer much better) Of course, the company "agents" cover themselves with a "I didn't know she was selling sex..." Very ethical. Start out with a lie on your lips to the cops. Smart way to do business. Let alone in THIS day and age the police have a dim view of this explanation to them and the courts hold you accountable anyhow. Yet again you slid under the questions-statements posed... mutual legal counsel?? WHO benefits?? Just the mention of a mutual legal defense fund probably shook you. That wouldn't benefit YOU eh? So you keep playing this as a upfront great opportunity. Keep us up to speed on how many of your "agents" end up as guests of the various states-countries they are operating in. BTW, skeptic I'm not.... intelligent woman yes. So keep picking up those 2k signup fees from the 18 to 20 yr old kids. You should be able to make a HUGE success with your company. Good Luck! What was it that circus guy said?? There is a (fill in the blank) born every minute? :1orglaugh Disclaimer: I am in NO way trying to talk anyone out of this HUGE deal! I understand from the originator himself that you stand to make thousands your first month. And exponentially increase that for a few years!! Retire by 25 and buy a Caribbean island (get a midget that says Boss... de plane de plane) :winkwink: note to self: coffee before spelling. |
Quote:
as each representative of our company is running their own business, a mutual legal defense fund is not feasible. they are not employed by us per se. what business are you in now btw? our business model proves effective in getting our entertainers work, since we have so many people promoting the company and finding work. we are growing every day. i hope that some of you will decide to grow with us. gemini post a pic :) |

And you're you're not promoting a franchise despite charging each of your non-employees a $2,000 fee for this turn-key business opportunity. Sounds nice and straightforward to me! :eek7 |
