Hopefully they'll hire Google to monitor. My guess is, they are already reading everything but cant use a lot of it in court since it is still illegal. This bill if passed will change all that.

Pretty sure this is just e-mails with 3rd party services. You should be safe if you host your own domain and use that for an e-mail address. Still fucked up though.
