Leadwrench isn't really revealing how they actually handle the data that is shared with them, so bear with me:
PROCESS.
1. You collect user info on a dating pre-join page (for example).
2. You have that info/data that you have collected (a lot of it) and you pass it to Leadwrench, and they optimize it for the various dating sites that you're both using.
3. Monies are generated on leads and joins by sending the data to these various dating sites.
COST.
One would have to figure out what the originating traffic is costing the affiliate (if anything at all as it may be organic SE traffic), and the cost of passing it through Leadwrench (their fee).
It reminds me a lot of emailing services. Customer has half a million email addresses, but no effective or safe way to hit those emails with offers so they use a service that is white-listed.
In either case, you have to trust that 3rd party with your data and hope they never share it or use it themselves.Comment

If you know all of my sites, then you know more than me. i literaly cannot keep up with them. I have to keep shit in a speadsheet. Domains, which names the domains are registered under, which hosts they are pointed at, which IPs they are on, and even if i have a site built on a particular domain or not.And Mister FEAR, I know all your pieces, all your sites, I just need to put everything together, thats where im failing, but im very good at finding pieces... Just building the jigsaw is the problem.

I have my own dating site. I have hundreds of domains that get some traffic, they all look like a dating site as well. The join page on all of those sites, is the join page to my one dating site.

I guess what I'm wondering more about is the customer side of things and the quality of their experience.
If they join dating site X, and enter their details through the API.. Will they get bombarded with tons of different offers via email? Surely there are quality control issues with programs paying per lead on watered down customers who have been over exposed.10 years of experience in:

How much do a couple hundred domains pointing to dating api join form make you in 2012? I know you are leaving adult, I would like to know how that worked this year for you.

You are looking at it the wrong way and mixing things up i think.
Luckily all the big tubes and other sites sell traffic at affordable rates. Making adult profitable is easy as pie these days and even works with ultra high CPC/CPM costs.
TrafficJunky, Adbucks, Exoclick... you can spend 50-100k a day there and dont need the same kind of setup like mr pheer to push 1000-10,000 leads a day.

And it gets worse, when trying to look at AFF pricing I found out I have an AFF account I never signed up for.
1. All my details were wrong, was confusing as fuck, I knew it was an API sign up but a surfer probably would have just given up.
2. It robbed the affiliate who actually referred me and raised brand awareness of his commission. In the long run it will mean less affiliates for AFF
3. All the emails had gone to spam some API users are basically email spamming via the sponsor servers.
I understand why a small program has one, but for AFF even though the numbers might look good in the short term most of these sales they would have made anyway and they for sure lose some through erroneous details etc.

I've cut way back on the dating especially since august... but according to stats remote it's still a 6-figure year for dating.
Last year was much higher, but I was almost focused on dating exclusively and a bit on webcams. This year I've eliminated webcams, am phasing out dating, and focused more on mainstream.Comment

If programs are paying per lead, they are expecting an exclusive purchase of that live lead. Lead Wrench can/will help you make $$ off every user, including the ones that are not accepted by your main sponsor.
The biggest issue with API traffic for sponsors is abuse. Some scamming affiliates think they can load up a bunch of crap data and try to pass it off as dating users. This not only clogs the resources of the sponsors servers and fills their database with crap, but also causes issues with the sponsors Email delivery. Lead Wrench actively works with sponsors to help prevent this abuse in a number of ways. We don't want crap affiliates using our system and take measures to prevent this type of abuse.
Yes it is essentially the same thing. Host & Post implies a live user/lead where the Affiliate HOSTS the leadgen form and POSTS the live lead data to the sponsor/offer. API differs only as some leads can also be re-posted a few hours/days after the live transaction.

You tell them they are getting a free membership to whatever. Cold signups do not work well. Some cam sites offer free minutes on signup... so you tell them they are getting that and to check their email. Dating sites I'm sure have something to offer for free signups as well to try and upsell them later.Comment
