    moniker emailing domain suggestions?

    I've received a couple of emails that say, we know you've registered MYDOMAIN.COM, why not register MYDOMAIN.NET too.

    They're sent to my Moniker contact addr and include my name.

    At first I thought it was a phish, but it looks like it may be legit, and they're just trying to drum up some more business.... and do some extreme tracking while they're at it!!! (there's a hidden image to track the mail being read, and every link seems to have a unique tracking ID.)

              Yeah legit, but kinda smells funny. Mailed via a third party with all that tricky tracking. Does that even work in 2012?

                          Ah, forgot they bought Moniker. Yea, they're trying their best to revive it I'm sure. Moniker has been one of the biggest sinking ships among domain registrars.
