So who is already playing it? I picked up my copy this morning for PS3, gonna play the game tonight and probably tomorrow. I'll be online by Thursday ready to destroy everyone as per usual.

its pretty sweet so far, i think its way better than the others to date. people are divided on wether to like activision or treyarch but imo treyarch make a better well rounded game.

I prefer Infinity Ward series of COD but MW3 was the worst in their series IMO. There hasn't been a good Treyarch COD game yet but I always buy them. Hopefully Black Ops 2 is better than MW3.. it would be hard not to be!Comment

The reason I never liked Infinity ward is they try to make it help people that are not good at the game. I think COD WOW was the best. It was most accurate on how long it took to kill depending on shooting them in the legs body or head.Comment

MW3 was pretty good, I only play online, and Treyarch is the company that did most the online gameplay on MW3.
My dislikes are
a. playing on a persons host, instead of having servers.
b. shooting people 3x's as much in the face, yet they tap you in the foot and your dead....Comment

Picked it up last night at 12:01am (Yeah I'm a fan boy). I like it so far, no rage quit like with any Infinity Ward product. Whats up with the commando lunge I've been seeing?? Thought they got rid of that long time ago. Some of the guns are going to get nerfed, lot of them are a little op. Worth the price of admission.Comment

I liked the actual game, it was pretty good although I feel the ending was weak, would have liked a bigger build up and then a balls to the wall ending. Like others have said, online it felt like you had to empty a full magazine into people to die but then one guy fires a bullet at you and you instantly die. I dunno, it felt really fake or weighted in favour of people with higher rankings. It could also be that I don't have as much time to play them these days as I did with MW and MW2, I would play them for 2 hours minimum every night, these days I find 30 mins of gaming hard to come by. One thing I did like about MW3 tho was the kill streak rewards, they were amazing.
I'm defo looking forward to getting online with Black Ops 2 tho, so far the game hasn't been the best, some cool aspects to it but the whole going back to the 70s then to 2025 is kinda weird. I'm only 3 hours in tho so I will reserve judgement till I finish it.Comment

Gotta agree. Even though there's no way a PS3 controller can match the accuracy of a mouse, I like that the playing field is a little more leveled in the console multiplayer. You can only be good to a certain level with your thumb. In PC world I get my head shot off every 10 seconds, but I last a lot longer on the PS3 multi.
