Bowling for Columbine...

So I just rented a copy of it and watched it for the first time with my wife.... wow. Totally profound, everyone should see this movie. I'm the most patriotic of people but I'm feeling a little ashamed to be an American at this exact moment.

There is another movie and the title escapes me, but Micheal Moore walks into johnson and johnson with a big check written out for 60 cents and he present its to them officialy saying he wants to pay for a mexican worker to work for 1 hour... Its pretty funny

hilarious documentary. i certainly don't agree with all of Moore's philosophy, but there are some seriously classic moments in that movie.

Have time to watch a movie?

Don't you have a domain name to renew or something?

Moore seems a little onesided to me, but it's a hell of a good film and an eyeopener for a lot of people. It reminded me of Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent.

I don't agree with all of what Moore believes in either but I do think it was an important film and it definitely altered my views on a couple subjects, even after discounting his bias.

I liked him better when he picked on big important people. He spends a lot of time in this one embarrassing little people. Even his interview with Charleton Heston (who is obviously suffering a bit from an Altzheimer's-like condition) is a bit uncomfortable to watch.

Michael Moore is a gasbag who, if stuck with a pin, would fly around the room until he ended up on the floor as three pounds of wrinkled hot-dog skin and a sweat-stained ballcap. And if he is a balloon, that would mean that his penis is twisted in a tight little knot.

Whoops

Sorry I guess I should have mentioned I have the local hookup for bootleg DVDs, screeners and videotapes. I rented Narc which we haven't watched yet... and I've also got a video tape dub of Lord of the Rings Two Towers which was copied off a DVD... best damn bootleg I've ever seen!!

...sorry about the wasted trip to the videostore...

I wasn't paying attention to the man, only what I discerned to be factual.
