I've watched that movie at least 20 times and not until watching it again last night did I realize Samuel L. Jackson was in it.

I thought for a while after seeing Goodfellas, and after later seeing Farina in things like Get Shorty and Out Of Sight, that he had played Billy Batts. According to the internet/IMDB it's quite a common misapprehension. Funny thing is Frank Vincent, who did play Batts (and memorably wielded a baseball bat at the end of Casino) and was one of the Goodfellas in the Sopranos, doesn't really look anything like Farina.Last edited by helterskelter808; 11-09-2012, 08:09 PM.Comment
