There are lots of sites, scraping FHGs, don't link to the sponsor and have lots of juicy/plugrush,... ads around the images. Not only tubes are abusing content ^^

Absolutely. Pictures assist in the fantasy -- customer imagines being there, what the model sounds like, etc. The pictures are generally touched up so the model looks damn near flawless. Sometimes the fantasy can be diminished with sound and/or dialogue.

A couple of years ago, videos outsold pics for us on certain sites, but pictures are again outselling videos for us on several of our sites. To that end, softcore is definitely holding it's own.

There's a reason why TGP sites are still around. I am guessing at least some of them are seeing more productivity than they have in years. They may not have the traffic volume any longer, but several of the ones that do not buy their traffic, that is, the quality no-skim sites, certainly have quality.
