tolik, yes i know you pal. you probably got me wrong, lemme lighten this up :P with cj i mean sites that have blind links and / or skim traffic. this also contains most of the tgps.

it's not easy to get trades with big guys going, i know that, you won't believe how often i emailed tommys-bookmarks.com :P but sleazy and every other bigger webmaster does not give a ratass about your traffic. and this is no offence, he does also not care about my traffic, and why? cause he has enough of it :P if you want to trade with him, you have to convince him that your traffic (and not you, this is no personal issue) is worth a link.

it's as easy as that and if you or anyone else doesnt like this rule, dont trade with him. no bad feelings on any side :thumbsup

I trade with PEOPLE, not sites. Many people trade based on traffic or productivity alone, I don't. A LOT of larger sites do this too. From the character that Slaw and his thug buddies have shownin this thread it looks like I made the right move in not trading with him. Threatening someone for a trade isn't all that smart in a small TGP world with limited real players in it.

If I don't know you and your references you mean shit to me and I'm not interested in trading with you.

When I started in this game I wanted a trade with Hardcore Junky, he said something to me I'll NEVER forget and I took it as INCREDIBLY VALUEABLE business advise from a VERY WIZE man. He said "We don't have much history" - Time fixed that.

I know, and have MET in person 90% of all the sites I trade with. I don't really want to trade with ANYONE I havn't met. The 10% I havn't met IN PERSON yet I expect to meet in the next year or two and only havn't done so yet due to their schedules or mine. I know ALL the references of the people I deal with, SLAW wasn't able to provide me with any references that mattered to me. there's usually a reason for that.

During many weeks he had the rule on his site - "send me 1k per day during a week, i'm not idiot and let me look on your traffic". Ok, it says it all. I guess a lot of guys sent him traffic... his site got the BASE for trades and for bookmarks.

fuck you ICQed me every fuckin 10 mins. I chose not to read them. Go read some of the comments in your own fucking thread from some REAL people in the TGP world you retard - I sent traffic to some sites that I WANTED to trade with for over 6 months with NO RETURN. There's one site I actually sent traffic to for over a YEAR before I got a trade. I wasn't bugging them on icq about it every 10 mins either. I do in fact invest 10's of thousands of dollars giving back a nice social gathering to TGP people 2 times a year at internext. Be care ful who you piss off in the industry, I may possibly have one or two friends with a wee bit of influence. I highly doubt you would EVER have the guts to show you face at internext.

But why the hell don't you waste 5 minutes from your precious time to write all the trade rules on the webmaster page from your site so people can know what to expect if they decide to trade links with you?

Or at least tell Slaw when he asked if you want to trade traffic with him, that you don't want his bussines and you are not interested in dealing with him, simple as that.

well, it was how i understood your trading methodes. and i really gotta say if you don't count of traffic quality, you should at least send slaw some traffic back if you really said you would trade with him. i thought you would not trade with him, cause his traffic is cj traffic.
