Yea, this last episode was huge and I can't wait until next Sunday to catch more. We don't know for sure that a new black guy is in the group. The prisoners are not welcome and may never be welcome. There could be a new black girl in the group if she can make it out of the governors camp.

I was hoping the baby was dead, just because it would have been hardcore to go through all of that, then have a stillborn. It would be the heaviest thing ever in a TV show, although I think the last 5 minutes of that episode probably ranks up there.

Yes that was quite the scene having to shoot his own mother. I think the show will be better off without her on it by far. Plus you never know what other people they will add but she was annoying as hell.

That was the first episode to actually affect me.. last season was just about getting annoyed and wishing everyone died of zombie aids. Looks like the writing is actually back on track... if you can believe that guy survived and set the whole zombie incursion up without a tenth of clue and the year of survival rocks group had.

I know a guy who is friends with quite a few cast members and he told me he knew who was going to die (this was last year). I called him out and he told me, and I shit you not, he was right! I thought Shane was a pivotal character and wouldn't die, but he did. And he's been right about all the deaths so far this season. He said I'll be shocked at the new route the show is going to take...but I refused to hear any spoilers on that.

Season 3 has been awesome so far and as someone who reads the comic I'm glad they are not doing everything identical as it leaves lots of room for suprises with characters like Dale & Lori dying in different ways to the comic.

She wouldn't immediately die. My take was she passed out from shock, but she was still bleeding out and wouldn't be likely to wake up. Certainly wouldn't survive being moved. If Hershel can survive his leg being hacked off, then Lori can survive having her stomach muscles cut through. However, she was already (probably) dying from internal bleeding.

So Carl's mom wasn't dead when he finished her off. She was just sleeping.

Game of Thrones spans a few books, and Ned Stark is not in a large majority of those books. When the show is over, it will be pretty much the same. Ned Stark existed only for his execution to be the flashpoint for everything that happens after. Why am I explaining this to you anyway? Never mind.

Reading this again it just occurred to me what a hyper-spaz Lori was. She may have been fine and just over-reacting. I mean, this was a woman who swallowed a ton of "morning after" pills a LONG TIME after having sex, expecting it to work. She wasn't the brightest light on the tree.

But at that point he was THE MAIN character. After he was gone I though - how is even possible to continue the show without him. Thats how huge character he was (especially for those who did not read the book and could not anticipate that this was just the start).
