    How well known was/is N.E.R.D. in the USA?

    Just out of curiosity how many times are/were they played in local radio stations/TVs?
    There is always some hype around Pharrell Williams, but what about his band?

                  While I know of Pharrell and him doing a lot of work, this is the only N.E.R.D. song I know:

                                              funny thing, i saw robin thicke audition for american idol a season or 3 ago, he was pretty bad, i don't think he even made hollywood week.

                                                                                  yeah, i recalled it wrong, it was actually 6 years ago, not 3. i guess all my ai watching got me mixed-up.

                                                                                  it's funny though, when i first came across that music video a while back, due to the chick in it, i almost didn't watch it because i instantly recalled thicke being on ai and i didn't remember it going well.
